CALGARY, Sept. 24 /CNW/ - Galleon Energy Inc. ("Galleon") is pleased to
announce that Mr. Lawrence (Lanny) Fenwick has joined Galleon as a director.
Mr. Fenwick has been active in the oil and natural gas business for more
than 37 years. He is recently retired from EOG Resources Canada Inc. where he
directed the company as Senior Vice President and General Manager from 1991 to
2007. Prior thereto, Mr. Fenwick held various executive and management
positions at EOG Resources Canada Inc., Canterra Energy Ltd. and CDC Oil and
Gas Limited responsible for production, engineering and hydrocarbon marketing.
Mr. Fenwick is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
