Ceragon's FibeAir(R) 3200T All-Indoor Solution Will Power one of East Africa's National Operator's High-Capacity Wireless Telecom Networks

Ltd. (NASDAQ and TASE: CRNT), a leading provider of high-capacity wireless
backhaul solutions, today announced that its leading edge wireless trunk
solution, FibeAir 3200T, was selected by a leading telecom operator in
Eastern Africa. The FibeAir 3200T solution will be used for
ultra-high-capacity links that will support nationwide transmission of voice
and data services. The deal, worth over $1.5 million, was initiated and
carried out by one of Ceragon's strategic resellers.
The FibeAir 3200T long haul trunk solution provides high capacity
connectivity using multiple STM-1, OC-3, FE or Gigabit Ethernet. This unique
solution utilizes a single hardware design to support all indoor and
split-mount installations, enabling the deployment of voice and data services
for rapidly growing networks. The current deployment in Eastern Africa
comprises a number of links built in 9+1 configuration (9xSTM1 with a single
STM1 protection).
