Health Net Federal Services, LLC, the government operations division of Health Net, Inc. (NYSE:HNT), today announced its partnership with the Providence Bruins hockey team for the second year in a row to recognize United States service members and their families in the New England region.

“Health Net Federal Services is extremely proud to partner with the Providence Bruins for a second consecutive season to honor our troops and show them how much we value their contribution to our country,” said Nate Nygaard, vice president of Operations in the Northeast for Health Net Federal Services. “We were overwhelmed by the incredible response to last year’s program and the appreciation shown by our service members in New England, their families and the fans. We couldn’t wait to extend this partnership for another season.”

Health Net and the Providence Bruins will honor one family from the Rhode Island National Guard or Newport Naval Station at each of this season’s 40 home games with tickets and special recognition, beginning with tonight’s game against the Lowell Devils.

“The Providence Bruins are proud to partner with Health Net Federal Services for a second straight season. We believe it is very important to honor the men and women who serve our country, and we hope they continue to enjoy the Providence Bruins games and the new Dunkin’ Donuts Center,” said Kevin Boryczki, vice president of Marketing and Public Relations, Providence Bruins.
