All Asia Licensing Inc. (Pink Sheets:AASI) today announced that CEO
Anthony Lee recently successfully engaged a number of Asian marketing
conferences regarding the implementation of Netsweeper software, which
is the subject of a previously-announced Memorandum of Understanding
between the two companies.
“Many Asian countries are already filtering
websites as demonstrated during the last Olympic Games,”
Lee pointed out. “The problem is that not only
are they filtering some of the ‘bad sites,’
but also some of the ‘good sites.’
In addition, simple e-mail access is often being hampered. Netsweeper’s
software is designed to resolve these types of problems,”
he said.
“Asian marketing channels have been going
through some changes, and we will have a clear indication of when we can
begin to implement the Netsweeper systems shortly,”
Lee emphasized.
In China alone, there are more than 200 million internet users and more
than 500 million cell phone users with about 10% having internet access.
Netsweeper, founded in 1999, has worldwide offices and distribution, and
its products are used by ISPs, telephone companies, corporations,
governments and schools.
