Medivation Announces Participation in Upcoming Investor Conferences

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Medivation, Inc. (Nasdaq: MDVN) today announced that David Hung, M.D., president and chief executive officer, will be a featured speaker on a panel entitled, 'A Focus on Neurodegeneration -- Huntington's and Parkinson's Disease,' at the 7th Annual BIO Investor Forum on Friday, October 31, at 9:45 a.m. Pacific Time at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco.

Dr. Hung will also present at the Barclays Capital Small and Mid-cap Healthcare Conference on Thursday, November 6, at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time at Barclays headquarters in New York and at the Lazard Capital Markets Fifth Annual Healthcare Conference on Tuesday, November 18, at 10:55 a.m. Eastern Time at the St. Regis in New York. He will provide an overview of Medivation and its clinical development programs for Dimebon for Alzheimer's and Huntington's diseases and MDV3100 for prostate cancer.
