Nov. 20--Cold weather is forecast to persist through Friday, but then Manatee County can expect a warm weather weekend. The morning chill is predicted to inch up only slightly from the near-record of Wednesday morning, with lows today at daybreak forecast to be from 38 to 48 inland to waterfront, and early Friday from 45 to 55, the National Weather Service said. Afternoon highs will be only in the 60s through Friday, forecaster Tom Dougherty with the NWS in Rustin said late Wednesday. But then Saturday and Sunday appear to break the cold spell and warm into the 70s, Dougherty said.
