ST. LOUIS, Jan. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- A new location for the Stella Artois Cutting Room, A-list film premiere parties and other high-profile events will highlight Stella Artois' sixth year as the official beer sponsor of the Sundance Film Festival, to be held Jan. 15-25 in Park City, Utah.

For this year's Festival, the Stella Artois Cutting Room will be located at The Sundance Lift along with other marquee Festival sponsors. Situated in the heart of Main Street, The Sundance Lift is an ideal place for filmmakers and celebrities to socialize and enjoy a Stella Artois.

As in years past, the Stella Artois Cutting Room will be open most days from 4-7 p.m. for happy hour for select guests 21 and older. The Cutting Room also will serve as a venue for film premier parties, celebrity dinners and as a venue for media interviews with filmmakers and casts.

'We've always had a great presence at the Sundance Film Festival, but this year's venue is really outstanding,' said David Daniels, product manager, Belgian Brands, Anheuser-Busch. 'It will be a great space for media to interview filmmakers and actors while providing guests with a place to warm up and relax in between films.'

Stella Artois is proud to support a wide variety of global film industry programs. From major film festivals to independent cinema, Stella Artois has a long history with and commitment to those who entertain audiences around the world.

Stella Artois traces its origin back to 1366 to a brewery called Den Hoorn, located in Leuven, a town just outside of Brussels. In 1717, master brewer Sebastian Artois purchased the brewery and renamed it to his namesake. The Artois Brewery created a special brew to celebrate Christmas and named it Stella (Latin for star) for its exceptional clarity. Today, Stella Artois is the gold standard for Belgian lagers with its distinctive flavor and spicy hop character.

Based in St. Louis, Anheuser-Busch (NYSE: BUD) is the leading American brewer, holding a 48.5 percent share of U.S. beer sales. The company brews the world's largest-selling beers, Budweiser and Bud Light. Anheuser-Busch also owns a 50 percent share in Grupo Modelo, Mexico's leading brewer, and a 27 percent share in China brewer Tsingtao, whose namesake beer brand is the country's best-selling premium beer. Anheuser-Busch ranked No. 1 among beverage companies in FORTUNE Magazine's Most Admired U.S. and Global Companies lists in 2008.
