Joint Solution to Accelerate Deployment of Supply Chain Planning and
Execution Strategies
Axway, the leading global provider of multi-enterprise solutions and
infrastructure, and WebConcepts, a widely recognized provider of
innovative supply chain planning and replenishment solutions, today
announced an agreement to integrate WebConcepts’ demand management and
replenishment solutions into Axway’s business-to-business (B2B) gateway
and business activity monitoring (BAM) solutions. Together, they will
help simplify consolidation, connection and collaboration between
trading partners.
The joint solution enables trading partners to share business-critical
information in a fast, safe and reliable way through Axway’s
industry-leading technology, while providing access to WebConcepts'
advanced demand management and replenishment platform. The integrated
offering includes a full range of resources necessary to meet the
challenge of deploying supply chain planning and execution strategies
across a critical mass of trading partners. The solutions will be
available in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) delivery model or as
traditionally licensed software.
“This is another significant step for WebConcepts as we continue to
build high-value supply chain planning and execution capabilities to
help connect and improve collaboration between suppliers and retailers
in dynamic consumer products industries,” states Ray Young, Chairman of
WebConcepts. “With the integration of Axway’s solutions and technology,
we can now accelerate the seamless integration of data between suppliers
and retailers through a reasonable, pay-as-you-grow pricing model to
meet today’s challenging economy.”
Young continues, “Under the terms of the agreement, Axway will offer
programs tailored to meet various business needs, including full-service
management of on-boarding initiatives and a quick-start program for fast
ROI (return-on-investment). By integrating with Axway’s Synchrony™
platform for supply chain visibility and the ease of enabling new
partners, the joint solution will also afford cost reductions for our
customers by providing better overall inventory management.”
“Our agreement with WebConcepts puts both companies in a position to
provide an affordable on-demand solution for complete source-to-shelf
retail inventory management – from small retailers to the largest
multinational manufacturers,” said Christophe Fabre, CEO of Axway.
