Prior to his new role, Najeeb was chief technology officer and executive vice president of engineering and operations at TradeBeam. Before that he was group vice president of enterprise applications at Oracle, and was a founding member of WebMD. He previously held management positions at Silicon Graphics, Tandem, and Intel.

The company last month reported an 8% increase in net income to GBP166.3m ($245m) for fiscal 2008, compared to GBP154m ($227m) a year ago, on revenue up 12% at GBP1.29 billion ($1.9 billion).
