Jan. 8--PROVIDENT BANK TO DISCUSS FINANCIAL RESULTS: Riverside-based Provident Financial Holdings, parent of Provident Savings Bank, will hold a conference call for institutional investors and bank analysts on Jan. 29. Officials will discuss the company's financial results for its second quarter.

A news release said the call is slated for 10 a.m., and can be accessed at 800-230-1096. An audio replay will be available through Feb. 5 at 800-475-6701.

The bank has more than $1.5 billion in assets and operates 14 branch offices in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

CONVENTION CENTER BOOSTS WEB OFFERINGS: The Ontario Convention Center has upgraded its technology offerings including the ability to host webinars, that allow groups to participate in live meetings using the Internet, and webcasting, which allows presentations to be broadcast live online, according to the center.

The center already offered Voice Over Internet Protocol, high-speed Internet and Wi-Fi.
