KYIV. Jan 12 (Interfax) - Naftogaz Ukrainy is still expecting Bulgarian and Romanian confirmation of their readiness for gas supplies, a source at the company's press center told Interfax on Monday.
"Naftogaz is ready to start deliveries to Bulgaria at any time. The question is how soon Romanian and Bulgarian dispatchers will agree on gas transit across the Romanian territory," the source said.
By request of the Bulgarian president, the Ukrainian chief of state ordered Naftogaz to supply daily 2 million cubic meters of Ukrainian gas to Bulgaria starting from January 10.
By a similar request of Moldova, Ukraine began gas deliveries on Saturday at the daily amount of 1.5 million cubic meters.
