Jan. 15--Eddie M. LeBlanc has been named chief financial officer of Oklahoma City-based Quest Resource Corp. and Quest Energy Partners LP, officials announced Wednesday.
LeBlanc has previous experience working as a chief financial officer with several energy exploration and production businesses.
He served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Ascent Energy Co., an independent, private oil and gas company, from July 2003 until it was sold to RAM Energy Resources in November 2007.
Before that, LeBlanc was senior vice president and chief financial officer of Range Resources Corp. LeBlanc was founder of Interstate Natural Gas Co., which merged with Coho Energy in 1994.
LeBlanc, a certified public accountant, worked for a national accounting firm before entering the oil and gas industry.
He succeeds Jack T. Collins, who was appointed interim chief financial officer in September. Collins will be the executive vice president finance/corporate development.
