Pegasystems recognized for ability to deliver business benefit in
challenging conditions
Pegasystems (NASDAQ:PEGA), the leader in Business Process Management
(BPM), has been named to InformationWeek Business Technology Network's Intelligent
Enterprise Editor’s Choice Awards as a “Company to Watch” in 2009.
Pegasystems delivers BPM solutions to some of the world’s leading
companies who have successfully increased their business agility with
Pegasystems’ Build for Change® technology.
Intelligent Enterprise evaluated companies based on vision,
technology innovation and customer leadership in attaining strategic
objectives. Thirty-six companies were selected across five key
categories: business intelligence, enterprise applications, information
management, performance management and process management.
The award selection was a collaborative endeavor, with extensive input
from 12 Intelligent Enterprise contributors. Intelligent
Enterprise Editor-in-Chief Doug Henschen was responsible for the
final selection of award winners. This recognition also called out the
recent introduction of Pegasystems’ Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)
offering by stating, “Pegasystems is also innovating with a
"platform-as-a-service" option that lets IT offer independent BPMS
instances for individual internal projects, speeding development while
recognizing the desire for autonomy.”
