Ford Motor Co., down 8 cents at $1.95

The struggling automaker lost $5.9 billion in the fourth quarter and burned through $5.5 billion in cash as sales slumped.

Eastman Kodak Co., down $2.08 at $4.99

Plunging sales of photography products hit quarterly results, and the company will cut about 14 to 18 percent of its work force.

Chevron Corp., down $3.17 at $70.62

The country's No. 2 oil company plans to spend $22.8 billion on capital projects in 2009, saying it has financial strength to do so.

3M Co., up $1.13 at $56.55

Quarterly profit dropped 37 percent as the global economic slowdown hurt the conglomerate's sales, and it cut its 2009 outlook.

Black & Decker Corp., down $8.09 at $30.65

The power tools maker said declining sales and a stronger U.S. dollar are hurting earnings, and plans to cut 1,200 jobs.

Fortune Brands Inc., down $4.25 at $33.71

The owner of the Jim Beam, Titleist and Moen brands lost $275.3 million in the fourth quarter on a strong dollar and a charge.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., down $1.21 at $7.85

The company said cruise bookings are stabilizing due to lower prices but gave a weaker-than-expected 2009 profit forecast.

NASDAQ

JetBlue Airways Corp., down 18 cents at $6.38

Quarterly revenue rose above analyst estimates, though the airline operator reported a pretax loss on a charge from bad investments.
