** Natick-based BJ's Wholesale Club Inc., which has weathered the recession better than most major retailers, releases fourth-quarter financial results.

** Akamai Inc. reports results for the fourth-quarter, when the Cambridge Web content provider cut 7 percent of its work force.

FORECAST: The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce hosts an economic outlook breakfast, 7:30 to 9:15 a.m., at the Westin Copley Place in Boston. JOBLESS: The U.S. Labor Department releases unemployment data for January. Economists expect the jobless rate to rise to 7.5 percent, the highest level in 16 years as slumping sales forced employers to slash staff.
