Toy Fair 2009 Represents the Company's First Time Presenting Their Top Selling Card Games
EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Feb. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Konami Digital Entertainment,
Inc. (KDE), today announced that they will be featuring their wildly popular
Yu-Gi-Oh TRADING CARD GAME(TM) (TCG) and the Blue Dragon(TM) Role Playing Card
Game (RPCG) at this month's American International Toy Fair in New York City.
Exhibiting for the first time at Toy Fair, KDE will introduce their portfolio
of products at Booth #4814, Level 1.

Featuring some characters from the popular Blue Dragon Xbox 360(R) video
game by famed developer, Hironobu Sakaguchi, and featuring character designs
by Akira Toriyama, the creator of the best-selling DRAGONBALL manga series,
the first Blue Dragon RPCG release consists of the Dark Shadow Wielder and
Light Shadow Wielder Starter Decks. Every Starter Deck, available for an
approximate retail price of only $9.99, contains all of the components needed
to start a game -- 40 cards, including a Shadow foil card, a fold-out game mat
and a beginner's guide. In addition, the Heroes Arise booster set and the
soon-to-be released Destinies Unite booster set (each consisting of 9 playable
cards and 1 strategy card per pack for an approximate retail price of $3.49
each) will be on-hand. The Blue Dragon RPCG is recommended for ages six and
up.
A highly anticipated and an all-new array of Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG products will
be introduced to the market, the first releases since KDE took control of the
Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG business late last year. Expecting to capture and enthrall
children ages eight and up, are the Duelist Pack -- Yusei --, designed with
new players in mind, includes strategy cards to help youngsters work on their
game play skills and plenty of powerful cards for a winning hand.
Available in late February it will come in two versions: single foil
Duelist Pack with an approximate retail price of $1.99; and a two-pack blister
with an approximate retail price of $3.99.
