Omnicom’s Subsidiary Appoints Key Executives

Fortune 500 company Omnicom Group’s digital communications subsidiary Organic has appointed Chris Abelt as Vice President of Engagement Management, Margot Hyun as Executive Director of Engagement Management, and Amy Hodgins as Creative Director.

The company said that these senior executives will work to deliver exceptional interactive marketing work and will continue to build upon Organic's strong client relationships.
 
Chris Abelt, as Vice President of Engagement Management, will manage and strengthen Organic's client relationships. Previously, Chris was Vice President of Strategy of the Financial Service Practice at imc(2) and Senior Vice President/Managing Director of the Financial Services Practice at G2. Chris has also worked on New York AARP, Aetna Insurance, Liberty Mutual Insurance and BMW Financial Services. Chris also spent seven years as Senior Vice President at The Gate Worldwide.
 
Margot Hyun, as Executive Director of Engagement Management, will bring her extensive strategic experience to manage clients in the San Francisco Organic office. Margot started her career as a banker at Citibank before moving into marketing at American Express, Chase and Travelers. She was a senior executive at Interbrand and Agency.com followed by a return to the client side at Yahoo. Most recently, Margot has run her own marketing consulting firm working with Wells Fargo's HELOC business and Cisco.
 
Amy Hodgins, as Creative Director, develops innovative creative solutions for all types of digital platforms. Prior to Organic, Amy was a Creative Director at MRM Worldwide and before that, Ogilvy, New York. Amy has over 10 years of agency experience and her clients have included major international brands such as Nikon, IBM, Best Buy, Fujifilm, Bertolli, Hasbro, Minute Maid and Kohl's.
 
Chris Abelt will report to Adam Turinas, EVP at Client Engagement and Margot Hyun will report to Bill Camp, SVP and General Manager. Amy Hodgins will report to Group Creative Directors Douglas Diaz and Brian Hull.
