Tuesday, March 10, 2009 9:05 AM

Jive Software and global services firm Sapient have formed a strategic partnership to bring highly effective, rich social media experiences that promote customer loyalty and product innovation to Sapient’s clients worldwide. As part of the partnership, Sapient supports Jive’s Social Business Software 3.0, a new application that debuts on March 10, 2009.

Sapient’s two service groups – Sapient Interactive, a marketing services firm, and Sapient Consulting, which provides IT and business consulting services, – leverage Jive SBS 3.0 as a complete, end-to-end social media and marketing software solution for clients. Both Sapient service groups have significant experience in designing and deploying major social networking initiatives for leading brands that heighten the collaboration and communication between those brands and their customers.

These initiatives include creating and managing enterprise-wide social networking deployments, online developer communities, executive blogging and public online communities.

Chris Davey, Sapient senior vice president and global e-commerce practice lead, said: “In addition, providing better forums for collaboration within organizations, particularly geographically diverse ones is equally critical. Both Jive and Sapient understand the urgency with which organizations need to address these challenges and have come together to help address this growing market need.”

Robert Brown, vice president of client services, Jive Software, said: “The partnership between Jive and Sapient makes it possible for companies to concentrate on building community and getting results from Jive’s Social Business, while Sapient takes care of the infrastructure needs. This is a win-win for our customers.”
