BJ's Restaurants, operator of casual dining chain, has opened its newest restaurant in Henderson, Nevada. The new BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse is located at 9520 S. Eastern Avenue, immediately south of the I-215 freeway at the Eastern Avenue interchange.
The restaurant is part of the Silverado Center, a 225,000 square foot retail shopping center. The restaurant is approximately 8,500 square feet, contains seating for approximately 280 guests and features BJ’s extensive menu, including BJ's signature deep-dish pizza, award-winning handcrafted beer and Pizookie dessert.
Jerry Deitchle, Chairman and CEO, said: “We are excited to open our first new restaurant of 2009 in Henderson. Opening day sales were very strong. The Henderson restaurant represents our second restaurant in the Las Vegas market, where our first restaurant in Summerlin has enjoyed above-average sales volumes and comparable restaurant growth during the past few years.
“We continue to remain on track to open as many as 9 to 11 new restaurants during 2009 and thereby increase our total restaurant operating weeks by 15% to 16% during the year.”
BJ's Restaurants currently owns and operates 83 casual dining restaurants under the BJ's Restaurant & Brewery, BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse or BJ's Pizza & Grill brand names.
