Ms. Ena Cratsenburg and Mr. Rick Bergquist Join Board of Market Leader in Environmental Software
SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/16/09 -- Locus Technologies (Locus), the industry
leader in web-based environmental compliance and information management
software, today announced appointment of Ms. Ena Chan Cratsenburg and Mr.
Rick Bergquist to its Board of Directors.
Ms. Ena Chan Cratsenburg is the Vice President of Business Development at
Amyris (http://www.amyris.com/), a renewable products company devoted to
creating a more sustainable world and solving the climate change crisis by
developing renewable fuels, including diesel and jet fuels. In this role,
Ena is responsible for identifying and developing opportunities for
potential collaboration in the Fuels and Chemicals business. Prior to
joining Amyris, she was Director of Business Development for Pixar
Animation Studios where she led efforts to develop and grow partnerships
for the monetization of Pixar's intellectual property assets. Prior to
Pixar, Ena spent nine years at BP and Amoco Oil Company where she held
various managerial positions within the Refining and Marketing Segment,
including head of Business Development for U.S. Commercial Fuels as well as
Area Operations Manager for distribution terminals in seven Midwest states.
Ena has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Mr. Rick Bergquist, Chief Software Evangelist for Locus Technologies since
2007, gained renown as a visionary technologist in his position as Chief
Technology Officer of the former PeopleSoft, Inc. He has over 30 years of
experience working in Enterprise Applications. As a founding father of one
of the most successful software companies in the world, Mr. Bergquist
brings advanced understanding of the power of applied technology and the
business benefits it can bring to Locus customers. Mr. Bergquist has
cross-discipline skills in strategy, product development, and marketing.
Mr. Bergquist joined PeopleSoft as a startup and continued to lead within
the company as it grew to a $3B organization when it was acquired by Oracle
in 2005. His duties at PeopleSoft included: Counselor to the Board of
Directors and Chief Executive Officer on product strategy, new product
development, and customer opportunities and issues. Prior to PeopleSoft he
held a senior principal position at American Management Systems where he
managed creation of product packages within financial industry for
Collections and New Account processing. Mr.
