Mar. 18--Fulton Bank moving its Stony Point office
Fulton Bank is relocating its Stony Point office in Richmond to an adjacent building in the Stony Point Office Park at 9030 Stony Point Parkway.
The new location will give employees more work space and provide customers with a bigger branch office, the company said.
The Stony Point office houses employees for Fulton Bank, title-agency operations, a financial advisory division and a mortgage subsidiary.
All operations will move to the new location early next month, except for the retail branch on the first floor, which will open in mid-May.
"Signage on the building is going up Saturday if the rain stops," said Oliver L. Way, central Virginia president of Fulton Bank.
The bank is evaluating more sites in the Richmond area but slowed its expansion plans because of the recession, Way said.
Fulton Bank is the flagship bank for Fulton Financial Corp., which is based in Lancaster, Pa. Fulton Bank has about 100 offices in Pennsylvania and Virginia, including a retail branch in Glen Allen, a mortgage operation in Chester and an office in Charlottesville. -- Carol Hazard
