Mar. 25, 2009 (Investor's Business Daily) -- CITI TRENDS (CTRN), an apparel retailer, said Q4 EPS jumped 19% to 70 cents, beating views by 15 cents. Sales grew 9% to $146.6 mil. CEO Ed Anderson will retire and be succeeded by COO David Alexander. It rose.

PAYCHEX (PAYX), a payroll services provider, said Q3 EPS fell 8% to 36 cents, meeting views. Sales fell 1% to $529 mil, below views. Shares edged up 0.5%.

RED HAT (RHT), a business software company, lifted Q4 EPS 10% to 22 cents ex items, topping views by 2 cents. Sales rose 17.5% to $166 mil, below views. Shares climbed 8% in late trading.

SAIC (SAI), a gov't contractor, said Q4 EPS jumped 20% to 30 cents, a penny over views. Sales gained 8% to $2.52 bil. It rose.

RAYTHEON (RTN), the aerospace firm, hiked its quarterly dividend 10.7% to 31 cents a share, payable May 1. Shares rose.

CKE RESTAURANTS (CKR), operator of the Carl's Jr. and Hardee's chains, posted Q4 EPS of 5 cents, beating views by 2 cents. Sales fell 3% to $327.5 mil, below estimates. Shares rose.
