Ohio-based specialty coatings and sealants company RPM International said that its subsidiary, Tremco Incorporated, acquired Canam Building Envelope Specialists Inc. (Canam), including its Zerodraft weatherproofing division.

Terms of the transaction, which is expected to be accretive to earnings within one year, were not disclosed.

Canam will become part of the Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance Division's subsidiary, Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc. while Zerodraft will join Tremco's Commercial Sealants and Waterproofing Division.
