Fortune 500 automotive aftermarket retailer Advance Auto Parts has appointed Tami Kozikowski as Chief Development Officer. Ms Kozikowski will report to Darren Jackson, Chief Executive Officer and will be based in Minneapolis, MN.

Ms Kozikowski’s responsibilities include the continued development of the Autopart International business, Advance’s real estate growth and development strategies, and the continued development and implementation of Advance’s people-focused strategies.

Ms Kozikowski will join Advance in May 2009 from Best Buy where she held multiple senior leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President, Merchandising where she was responsible for Best Buy’s appliance, music, movies and gaming businesses.

Prior to this role, Ms Kozikowski served as Senior Vice President, Retail Support and Operations, including the Geek Squad, and Senior Vice President of Services Operations, where she focused on aligning her team under a single operating model to provide clarity and build efficiency and support between field and corporate partners.

Ms Kozikowski holds a Master of Business from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and Bachelor of Science in Business and Accounting from the University of Minnesota.
