Health Net Federal Services, LLC, the government operations division of Health Net, has been re-awarded a contract by the Martinsburg VA Medical Center (VAMC) to provide primary care, mental health care, women’s health care, and preventive health services to veterans enrolled in the VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) located in Harrisonburg, Va.
The clinic serves veterans residing primarily in the counties of Rockingham, Albemarle, Augusta and Greene.
Health Net has partnered with the Martinsburg VAMC to deliver primary care and mental health services in Harrisonburg since 1999.
In serving the special health care needs of veterans, the Harrisonburg VA clinic offers chronic disease management, as well as health promotion programs, on a wide range of health issues such as smoking, hypertension, diabetes, obesity and heart disease.
Veterans are screened and treated for conditions such as alcohol and substance abuse, military sexual trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
