Apr. 6--Merge Healthcare, a West Allis developer of medical imaging software, said it will donate $1 million in staff time, software licenses, hardware and cash to the World Health Imaging Alliance, a not-for-profit organization focused on bringing low cost imaging solutions to underserved communities.
The company, which employs about 260 people, including about 60 people in West Allis. The company reported its second consecutive profitable quarter in February, marking another step in its turnaround under a new management team.
