Apr. 29--It's going to be a reunited-and-it-feels-so-good summer at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater this year, as reunions -- some expected, some sorta-shocking -- dominate the Live Nation amphitheater schedule announced Tuesday morning.

The long-awaited Phish reunion (June 2, 4 and 5) opens the season, while comebacks from Jane's Addiction (June 7), New Kids on the Block (June 12), No Doubt (June 27), Creed (Aug. 15) and Loggins & Messina (Aug. 23) are also on deck.

Country superstar Kenny Chesney (June 24) leads the list of non-reunions, along with multiplatinum stars Nickelback (July 15) and Dave Matthews Band (July 21 and 22).

Up-and-coming piano-rockers The Fray (June 25) return, as do perennial summertime kings Jimmy Buffett (Aug. 26) and the Allman Brothers Band (Aug. 27).

The package tours Rock the Bells (July 19), featuring Nas and Damian Marley, and KTU's Beatstock (Aug. 16), whose headliners have yet to be announced, also return.

Tickets for most of the season's concerts are already on sale through Live Nation, with the Phish shows and Buffett's show already sold out.

The remainder of the shows go on sale at 9 a.m. on Saturday, except for Creed, which goes on sale May 9, also through Live Nation.

Live Nation spokesman Jim Steen said the company is looking forward to a "strong summer" at Jones Beach, with the schedule essentially unaffected compared with the rest of the struggling economy.

"Concerts are pretty bulletproof," Steen said. "And Jones Beach is part of the fabric of people's summers on Long Island so that tends to help us."
