Kaspersky Lab Signs Agreement With SureWest Communications

Kaspersky Lab's technology is claimed to leverage advanced detection software to combat all forms of malicious software, including viruses and spyware, before they can attack a PC, as well as real-time virus scanning of files and email. The offering provides SureWest users with internet security protection to defend against internet threats and combat programs designed to steal the financial and confidential data stored on a computer.

The Kaspersky Internet Security application is provided to SureWest internet subscribers as a value-added feature at no additional cost.

Peter Drozdoff, vice president of marketing at SureWest Communications, said: "With Kaspersky Lab's technology, our customers now have an extra tool for protecting both their personal information and their families against online threats. This value-added service will enhance the overall user experience by providing SureWest customers greater peace of mind while using the internet."
