CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- At its regular quarterly meeting of the Company's Board of Directors, Piedmont Natural Gas today announced the declaration of a quarterly dividend on Common Stock of 27 cents per share, payable July 15, 2009, to holders of record at the close of business on June 25, 2009.
In other Company news, Piedmont announced that consistent with its core values toward the environment and its efforts to continuously improve business processes, it intends to provide its Summary Annual Report, Form 10-K and proxy statement electronically rather than in paper format, beginning with the 2010 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. Information about how shareholders may still request paper copies of these documents will be mailed to shareholders later in the year.
