New contracts illustrate AMICAS' continued strength and added value in the MEDITECH customer base

(Nasdaq: AMCS), a leader in image and information management solutions, today announced new contracts with MEDITECH hospitals for AMICAS PACS(TM). These new contracts illustrate AMICAS' success in serving the unique needs of MEDITECH hospital clients. AMICAS will be showcasing its image and information management solutions for MEDITECH facilities at the 2009 International MUSE Conference in Vancouver, BC, Canada, from May 26 to 29. Interfaith Medical Center, which is a 287-bed hospital located in Brooklyn, NY. This multi-site community teaching healthcare system provides a wide range of medical services throughout central Brooklyn.

United Medical Center (formerly known as Greater Southeast Community Hospital), located in Washington, DC, has provided medical and community services to residents of the Washington metropolitan area since 1965.
