TSX Review: Index Ends Lower

, May 13, 2009 (Resource News International) -- The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX)finished lower on
Wednesday, as weaker-than-expected US retail sales data heightened the ongoing
global economic concerns and led to risk aversion in the equity markets.

The TSX composite index decreased by 368.19 points or 3.65% to close at
9,709.51 on Wednesday. Declines beat advances 1,085 to 398.

Trading volume on Tuesday totaled 694.4 million shares, up from 665.2
million on Tuesday.

Yamana Gold Inc.----------------- dn 0.28% ----- at $ 10.55
