Provides Second Quarter Fiscal 2009 Diluted EPS Guidance of $0.04 to $0.07

Announces Release Date, Conference Call and Webcast for First Quarter Fiscal 2009 Results

Cache Inc., (NASDAQ: CACH) today announced that the Company will be participating in the Susquehanna Financial Group Fourth Annual Consumer Focus Forum and, in conjunction with this announcement, is introducing guidance for its second quarter fiscal 2009 earnings in the range of $0.04 to $0.07 per diluted share. Separately, the Company announced it will conduct a conference call to discuss first quarter fiscal 2009 results, for the period ended March 28, 2009, on Thursday, April 30, 2009.

Conference Participation

The Company will be presenting at the Susquehanna Financial Group Fourth Annual Consumer Focus Forum being held at the Millennium Broadway Hotel and Conference Center in New York City on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 2:05 pm ET. Tom Reinckens, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and Maggie Feeney, EVP and Chief Financial Officer, will host the presentation. Second Quarter Fiscal 2009 Guidance

The Company is introducing net sales and diluted earnings per share guidance for the second quarter of fiscal 2009. The Company currently expects net sales for the second quarter of fiscal 2009 in the range of $57.0 million to $59.0 million, which compares to actual second quarter fiscal 2008 net sales of $74.0 million. This guidance assumes a similar comparable store sales trend as reported in the first quarter.

Earnings per diluted share for the second quarter of fiscal 2009 is currently in the range of $0.04 to $0.07, which compares to actual second quarter fiscal 2008 earnings per diluted share of $0.16.

Release Date, Conference Call and Webcast for First Quarter Fiscal 2009 Results

The Company announced that it will conduct a conference call to discuss first quarter fiscal 2009 results, which will be issued in a press release before the market opens on April 30, 2009. The call, scheduled for Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time, will be hosted by Thomas Reinckens, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and Maggie Feeney, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
