Copart, Inc. (NASDAQ:CPRT), a leading online vehicle remarketer, is
proud to announce that the company has added a sweepstakes called the
“Copart Challenge of Champions” to the exciting sponsorship lineup in
the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
Copart sponsors two Truck Series champions – the No. 33 Copart truck
driven by Ron Hornaday Jr., the 2007 champion, and the No. 30 Copart
Tundra driven by Todd Bodine, the 2006 champion. The two champions will
race Copart-sponsored trucks four times each over the course of six
truck series events in the Copart Challenge of Champions. The winner
will be the Copart driver who accumulated the most points while driving
a Copart truck during the specified six races and will receive a trophy
at the final race.
But it isn’t just the drivers who win in this contest. Race fans can
vote online for the Copart driver they believe will win the Copart
Challenge of Champions at www.copart.com.
Just by voting, fans will be entered to win great racing prizes. Voting
begins today, June 19, and will end Sept. 27.
Copart will randomly select one Hornaday fan and one Bodine fan who
voted in the Challenge to receive a first place prize – a VIP racing
experience to the Copart Challenge of Champions finale in Talladega.
These two lucky winners will not only get tickets to the entire race
weekend in October, they will also receive transportation to the race,
lodging, and pit passes for them and a guest to see their favorite
Copart truck series driver in action. The first place prize winner whose
chosen Copart driver wins the Challenge of Champions will also receive a
grand prize of autographed racing memorabilia from the Talladega race
and a lifetime buyer registration at www.copart.com.
In addition, there will be five race day drawings in which 10 people who
vote in the Challenge will be randomly chosen to receive racing apparel.
Further, if a driver takes first place in one of the races in the
Challenge, fans who voted for that driver will be randomly chosen to win
prizes as well.
“Copart wants to provide NASCAR fans with a way to participate in our
sponsorships of these two great truck champions and cheer on their
favorite driver, while also learning more about Copart,” said Copart
President Jay Adair. “This friendly competition provides NASCAR fans not
only the opportunity to fuel their passion for racing, but also the
opportunity to fuel their passion for cars by visiting our website!”
Copart sells more than 1 million cars per year and has more than 50,000
vehicles each day to choose from including classics, early and late
model cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, boats, snowmobiles, jet skis and
recreational vehicles.
“Copart wants NASCAR fans to know that we are the best place to find
cars,” Adair said.
Copart is sponsoring Bodine for two additional races as part of the
Copart Challenge of Champions. The two additional races take place
today, June 19, at the Copart 200 in Milwaukee; and at Talladega
Superspeedway Saturday, Oct. 31, when the Copart Challenge of Champions
concludes. These additional sponsorships mean that Bodine and Hornaday
will both be racing in Copart sponsored trucks on these dates.
