DDR3 is Hot – But Don’t Get Burned!
Dataram Corporation [NASDAQ: DRAM],
today announced a new “Savings Protection Factor” (SPF) program aimed at
protecting its customers from exposure to high prices of DDR3 memory and
providing a savings opportunity of $100,000 or more.
Dataram’s market assessment indicates 8GB DDR3 components are at
unnaturally high prices and are in short supply. A decision to purchase
8GB DDR3 DIMMs today could be a costly one. Historically, new
technologies are in great demand and highly priced. Prices typically
fall dramatically in the first three to six months as production ramps
up to meet demand.
To protect our customers from exposure to these high DDR3 prices,
Dataram is offering a trade-in program that safeguards their memory
investment. Customers can purchase readily available and attractively
priced Dataram 4GB DDR3 memory today, and trade them in for full credit
when they buy Dataram 8GB DDR3 DIMMs later, when market conditions are
more favorable.
Dataram’s trade-in program is available in three strengths: SPF-90
provides customers with full investment protection—full credit on 4GB
DIMM purchases—for up to 90 days, SPF-180 provides protection for 85%
credit for up to 180 days, and SPF-365 provides protection of 70% credit
for up to one year!
