Emergency Medical Services Corporation (NYSE: EMS) (the “Company”) today
announced that its American Medical Response, Inc. ("AMR") subsidiary
has entered into an agreement as a preferred provider for medical
transportation services with SunBridge Healthcare Corporation
(“SunBridge”). SunBridge and its affiliates collectively operate more
than 200 long-term and post-acute care centers with approximately 22,000
operating beds in 25 states.
Under the terms of the agreement, AMR will provide medical
transportation services to select SunBridge affiliated facilities.
SunBridge will benefit from operational efficiencies provided under the
agreement, while ensuring the quality of medical transportation services
for its patients.
