SANTIAGO, Chile, June 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ENERSIS S.A. (NYSE: ENI) announced today that its 2008 Annual Report on Form 20-F has been filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.

Enersis is an electric utility company engaged, through our subsidiaries and affiliates, in the generation and distribution of electricity in Chile, Argentina, Colombia and Peru, and in the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity in Brazil.

We have over 12.4 million customers on a consolidated basis, and through Endesa Chile and Endesa Brasil, we have 14,284 MW of installed capacity with 154 units in the five countries where we operate. Our consolidated assets and operating revenues were (under Chilean generally accepted accounting standards) US$ 22,625 million and US$ 10,449 million, respectively, in 2008.
