Guardian Pharmacy has its presence in over 160 stores across the country, and would be retailing OTO’s products at select Guardian stores. The company is also exploring corporate sales and distribution tie-ups in the country. The current venture, worth over Rs 50 crore in the first two years, has started operations this month.

Commenting on the tie up, Mr Ashutosh Garg, Chairman and Managing Director of Guardian Lifecare, said, “At Guardian, we are constantly striving to deliver wellness solutions to our customers. This tie-up will bring the much needed home diagnostics (NASDAQ:HDIX) and wellness products into the modern pharmacy format.”

“There is a growing demand for fitness and relaxation products in the hectic pace of life we live in to keep bodies rejuvenated and vital. Guardian has a well established distribution network in the country. We expect this network and Guardian’s experience in the country to go a long way in helping us make a foray in the Indian market said OTO spokesperson, Mr David Yip, Head International Business of OTO Bodycare.

OTO Bodycare has products to soothe the tired foot; workout machines that help tone flabby muscle; firm up abdomen muscles and back massagers.
