Awards focus on Corporate Reputation, Ethics and Governance,
Sustainability, Diversity and a Commitment to Work/Life Balance for
Employees
Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) earned recognition from a number of
organizations for its initiatives in corporate citizenship
in the first half of 2009.

integrated into our business strategy and has earned us recognition from
stakeholders for delivering value not only to society and the world at
large but also to our business and the bottom line.”
World’s Most Admired Companies
Xerox was ranked the World’s
Most Admired Company in the computer industry in FORTUNE
Magazine’s annual reputation survey. Xerox jumped to No. 1 from last
year’s industry ranking of No. 4. Survey results were featured in the
March 16 issue of FORTUNE. To arrive at each company’s industry
ranking, scores were averaged from these nine criteria: innovation,
people management, use of corporate assets, community/environment,
quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment,
quality of products/services and global competitiveness.

World’s Most Ethical Companies
Ethisphere named Xerox one of the World’s
Most Ethical Companies in 2009. Companies were measured against
seven distinct categories: corporate citizenship and responsibility;
corporate governance; innovation that contributes to the public well
being; industry leadership; executive leadership and tone from the top;
legal, regulatory and reputation track record; and internal systems and
ethics/compliance program.
America’s 100 Best Corporate Citizens
In Corporate Responsibility Officer (CRO) magazine’s tenth annual
listing of the 100
Best Corporate Citizens for 2009, Xerox ranked 16th, up from its
2007 rank of 49. The list ranks 1,000 companies on their performance in
seven key areas: environment, climate change, human rights,
philanthropy, employee relations, financial and governance.
