The FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen brings together 50 of the world's foremost authorities on food and wine at 80 cooking demonstrations and wine seminars. QVC's coverage on Sunday, June 21, will give viewers unprecedented access to the event's signature Grand Tasting Pavilion and Classic Quickfire, as well as the biggest V.I.P. gatherings, including FOOD & WINE's Publisher's Party and the 2009 Best New Chefs Dinner. QVC is scheduled to broadcast a live KitchenAid show at 11 AM (ET), KitchenAid - Live from the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen, CO, and include live hits from the event during the network's In the Kitchen with David(SM) broadcast from 12 NOON until 2 PM (ET).
In addition, in a special move by the multimedia retailer, QVC will be veering from its traditional retailing format to deliver the sights, sounds and excitement of this annual gathering of food and wine trendsetters through a live Webcast on its Web site, QVC.com, at 2 PM (ET). The Webcast is scheduled to feature interviews with celebrity chefs, demonstrations of various recipes, behind-the-scenes tours and the latest culinary trends. Customers can also play an interactive part of the Webcast by submitting their questions in advance to QVC's Facebook page.
