'Terminator Salvation' Showcases Boot Developed for U.S. Elite Special Forces

FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif., May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Oakley, Inc. today announced that its S.I. Assault Boot(TM) will be appearing in 'Terminator Salvation,' the highly anticipated fourth installment of the blockbuster 'Terminator' film franchise. The civilian version of combat gear developed for the U.S. Elite Special Forces, Oakley's S.I. Assault Boot is worn by the character John Connor.

Oakley will be presenting promotional tie-ins to the movie, which opens nationwide on Thursday, May 21st. Oakley Stores throughout the U.S. and at select locations in Canada will provide two complimentary movie passes to the film with purchases of $175 or more, while supplies last.

The Oakley S.I. Assault Boot is a street version of gear developed specifically for the U.S. Elite Special Forces. A lightweight, athletically inspired design, it combines supple full-grain leather with a moisture-wicking liner and prime urethane shock absorption.
