Yokohama, Feb. 12, 2009 (JCN Newswire) -- Japan-Panasonic Mobile Communications Co., Ltd. (Panasonic Mobile) announced today that the company will exhibit its cutting-edge products and technologies for 3G mobile phones at Mobile World Congress 2009, to be held in Barcelona, Spain from February 16 to 19.
Panasonic Mobile will display a variety of its latest 3G mobile phones for the Japanese market, and introduce linkage functions between mobile phones and Panasonic AV equipments such as Plasma TV "VIERA" and Blue-ray recorder "DIGA" with live demonstrations.
Panasonic Mobile will also exhibit its newly-developed Super 3G (Long Term Evolution (LTE)) Base Station to NTT DOCOMO (NYSE:DCM) , which was accomplished through collaboration with Nokia (NYSE:NOK) Siemens (NYSE:SI) Networks.
As a continuation of previous year's display, a part of Panasonic booth will feature LiMo Foundation, which showcases LiMo compliant mobile phones of the participating companies including Panasonic.
