LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the world’s leading luxury products
group, announces the appointment of Lisa Montague as Chief
Executive Officer of Loewe, the celebrated Spanish leather
goods and accessories Maison. She will be based in Loewe’s headquarters
in Madrid and will report to Pierre-Yves Roussel, CEO LVMH Fashion
Division.
Lisa Montague’s knowledge of the leather goods industry and her flair
for bags and accessories are perfectly suited to enhance the current
development of Loewe, a Maison whose legitimacy as a luxury accessories
specialist is rooted in over 160 years of leather goods craftsmanship.
Lisa was until recently Chief Operating Officer at Mulberry.
At Loewe, Lisa will once again work alongside Stuart Vevers who joined
Loewe as Creative Director in January 2008, having previously worked at
Mulberry and before that at Louis Vuitton.
After studying at Middlesex Polytechnic of London, Lisa Montague started
a career in fashion and retail with the Hucke and De Keyser groups. In
1998, she received accreditation from the Institute of Directors of
London, while pursuing her career with Cerruti 1881, where she was
successively Sales Vice President in the US, International Sales Manager
and Managing Director for the UK. In 2000, she joined the Mulberry Group
as Brand Director before becoming Chief Operating Officer in 2003.
