Modis, Inc., the information technology (IT) services business
unit of MPS Group, Inc. (NYSE: MPS), announced that it has been chosen
to provide IT consulting services as a preferred vendor to the State of
New York / Office of the Attorney General (OAG).
Modis was one of two vendors chosen to provide consultants for all six
resource categories, including application development, operations,
integration, database/application server administration, user services,
and management and analysis. The contract initially extends through
March of 2012, and will cover the State of New York with a majority of
the positions to be located in Albany and New York City.
