Accomplished Time Warner Executive to Join Media and Merchandising Company's Executive Team

NEW YORK, March 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. (NYSE: MSO) today announced the appointment of Kelli Turner as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. Ms. Turner will report to MSLO Executive Chairman Charles Koppelman, working closely with MSLO's Co-CEOs Wenda Harris Millard, President of Media, and Robin Marino, President of Merchandising.

As CFO, Ms. Turner will be responsible for all aspects of the Company's financial operations, while working closely with the executive team in shaping MSLO's business strategy and capital allocation process. She will have oversight responsibility for financial planning, treasury, financial compliance and reporting, and investor relations, as well as key administrative functions. Ms. Turner fills the position previously held by Howard Hochhauser, who departed the Company in December 2008.

In announcing the appointment, Mr. Koppelman stated, 'Kelli's robust skill set, including extensive experience in finance, operations and business development, makes her an ideal fit for MSLO. She is smart and collaborative, with a deep understanding of the investment community. We are thrilled to have her join our executive team.'

A lawyer and a CPA with significant experience in the media industry, Ms. Turner joins MSLO from Time Warner where she held the position of Senior Vice President, Operations in the Office of the Chairman and CEO. Prior to that, she served as SVP, Business Development for New Line Cinema after having served as Time Warner's Vice President, Investor Relations. Ms. Turner worked in investment banking for many years with positions at Allen & Company and Salomon Smith Barney prior to joining Time Warner. Early in her career, she also gained tax and audit experience as a registered CPA at Ernst & Young, LLP.
