Spanish-Speaking OmniPod Customer Support Now Available Around-the-Clock

BEDFORD, Mass., May 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Now, no matter when a patient with the OmniPod(R) Insulin Management System calls for toll-free customer support, a Spanish-speaking representative is available to help. Insulet Corporation (Nasdaq: PODD), the leader in tubing-free insulin pump technology with its OmniPod System, has expanded its Spanish-speaking customer service to be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

'Managing diabetes is a 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week job for our customers, so our goal is to provide best-in-class customer support for all OmniPod users,' explained Denise Tise, Insulet's Director of Customer Care and Product Support. 'Expanding our Spanish-speaking customer service is particularly valuable for our Spanish-speaking customers in areas with small Hispanic populations, for whom we may be their only source for assistance in using the OmniPod System to manage their diabetes.
