Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation (NYSE: PVH) announced today that it has
licensed WestPoint Home, Inc. a leading home textile manufacturer and
marketer based in New York, to design, produce and market a collection
of bed, bath and kitchen products under PVH’s well-known IZOD brand.
WestPoint Home will offer IZOD-branded sheets, bedding, bath towels and
accessories, blankets and throws, down comforters, pillows and mattress
pads to leading department and specialty stores in the U.S., its
possessions and territories. Deliveries of this new offering are
scheduled to begin in Spring 2010.
Dating back to the 1930s, the spirited IZOD brand is now licensed in 24
product categories to 20 companies in the U.S. and is distributed
globally by six international licensees.
