Regal Entertainment Group (NYSE: RGC), a leading motion picture
exhibitor owning and operating the largest theatre circuit in the United
States, announced today that tickets are on sale now for Ice Age:
Dawn of the Dinosaurs in Digital 3D. Regal Entertainment Group will
offer this Digital 3D presentation at 234 locations across
the country utilizing RealD 3D cinema systems. The movie opens
Wednesday, July 1.
“You can catch all of your favorite prehistoric friends on the big
screen and this time in 3D. Regal Entertainment group is proud to
showcase Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs 3D at more than 230

In Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, the sub-zero heroes are back,
on an incredible adventure for the ages. Scrat is still trying to nab
the ever-elusive nut (while, maybe, finding true love); Manny and Ellie
await the birth of their mini-mammoth; Diego the Saber-toothed Tiger
wonders if he’s growing too “soft” hanging with his pals and Sid the
Sloth gets into trouble when he creates his own makeshift family by
hijacking some dinosaur eggs. On a mission to rescue the hapless Sid,
the gang ventures into a mysterious underground world. Ice Age: Dawn
of the Dinosaurs has been rated PG for some mild rude humor and
peril.
Regal Entertainment Group utilizes RealD® 3D projection systems to
provide true-to-life 3D. RealD is a new generation of digital 3D, giving
moviegoers a stunningly realistic movie experience that engages the
imagination, activates the senses and invites the audience not only to
watch a film, but also step inside the story. Audience members will
utilize comfortable, lightweight glasses to view the film’s 3D effects.
These glasses can be taken home as souvenirs of the movie or recycled as
guests exit the presentation.
