CHIPDRIVE Driver Card Company Edition is an enhancement of the successful CHIPDRIVE Driver Card from SCM Microsystems. Both solutions enable commercial drivers to read-out driver relevant data while on the road and to transfer it to their employers using only a notebook PC and a smart card reader. The new CHIPDRIVE Driver Card Company Edition solution also enables the collection and read-out of relevant vehicle data, including tachographic data, providing transportation companies with critical information about the mileage, time on the road and performance of individual vehicles and entire fleets. This data can be used to monitor vehicle condition and aid in scheduling maintenance and repair, furthering the safety objectives of companies and regulators alike.
New features of CHIPDRIVE Driver Card Company Edition include the ability to illustrate and diagram the data that is collected to better evaluate and demonstrate drive and vehicle status. The new solution also includes a new 'authority export' capability, which enables the rapid transmittal of information requested by regulatory bodies, including detailed data about individual driers, vehicles and times. This data can also be filtered and diagrammed to document failures and offenses of drivers, in case of safety violations or evaluations.
