LIN TV Corp. (NYSE: TVL), a local television and digital media company,
today announced an agreement with News Over Wireless (NOW) for the
distribution of its market-leading news and video to a growing number of

“We are strategically accelerating the expansion of our mobile services,
a business that was non-existent two years ago, and now attracts nearly
five million impressions a month,” said LIN TV’s Senior Vice President
New Media Robb Richter. “NOW’s customized mobile news platform will help
further extend our newsrooms, increase brand loyalty and grow additional

applications for LIN TV to include national and local advertising,
providing new revenue stream opportunities.
“LIN TV’s new media strategy is to deliver the greatest media experience
to viewers in our local markets through web, mobile, short message
service, and other channels,” added Richter. “The iPhone applications
tap into one of the most popular Apple innovations to provide LIN TV’s
