(Source: MARKETWIRE)trackingThe NMA L!ve Conference, to be hosted at the Online Marketing Show 2009, welcomes some of the industry's leading thinkers, who will be discussing the latest developments in online marketing, such as behavioural targeting, social media and mobile applications. Barclays Plc will be headlining with an exclusive session at the NMA L!ve Conference, where Sean Gilchrist, Digital Banking Director will for the first time, publically speak about the customer-facing redesign of the Barclays corporate website, www.barclays.co.uk, due to launch in July 2009.

In addition, VCCP, the agency behind Alexander the Meerkat, the character at the centre of the most talked-about social media campaign in the UK, 'Compare the Meerkat', will be speaking to marketers about how to think differently when it comes to successfully integrating social media into the marketing function.

"When I compiled this year's NMA L!ve Conference programme for the Online Marketing Show, I did so with a view to covering some of the big issues affecting marketers, as they progress towards interactive technologies," says Michael Nutley, editor-in-chief of New Media Age, the publication behind the Online Marketing Show. "From an in-depth look at social media and lifting the lid on mobile marketing, I'm confident that the NMA L!ve Conference sessions will answer the question every digital marketer asks themselves -- 'What will I need to do next?'"

Other sessions include:

Mobile microworkshops -- where the focus will be on how to build a mobile site and mobile advertising. Attendees will have the opportunity to quiz three industry experts on key issues and receive detailed answers to their questions

Attributing value through the customer journey -- will look at the latest initiatives to attribute value to all the touch points in the customer journey

Why have a mobile site? -- where leading brands explain why they launched mobile websites, the problems they faced in doing so, and the results they've been seeing

The NMA L!ve Conference will take place on Tuesday, 30th June and Wednesday, 1st July 2009 in the Pillar Hall and Olympia Room, at the Online Marketing Show 2009. The pre show cost per session is GBP 35 and if two sessions are booked before Friday, 26th June 2009, the third session is free.
